Nylon or heavy weight polyester?
Nylon
Our usual recommendation for Florida. Lightweight, flies in light wind, dries quickly after rain, and resists UV fading better than anything else. The best all-round choice for homes and most businesses.
Heavy weight polyester
Heavier, with a cotton-like texture, embroidered stars and sewn stripes. Made for tall poles, coastal sites and constant wind where a nylon flag would wear out at the fly end. Needs more breeze to fly.
